George Brassens was another high school discovery, along with Piaf, Jacques Brel, François Villon, and many others. There was an incredible eclecticism to people’s music tastes, and I still appreciate the exposure to this day.

Restless. Being in the water and the dripping heat of the sauna reminded me of summer, and yet it’s the heart of winter here. Too much introspection and quiet time, hopefully this winter will be a return to the out of doors to break the silent white monotony.

Curves Ahead - Queen of Violets

Queen of Violets was one of my initial Tumblr discoveries. I was so impressed with the diversity on tumblr. If you think it, there’s probably a tumblr for that. I was intrigued to see that there was a diversity of representation in some blogs.
