This reminds me of Vienna. I’d so much love to be there right now, nothing to do, just wandering, absorbing. Vienna is so incredibly underrated as a city - there are so many other places to go and sites to see, but Vienna is truly a historical gem.
When I first started modelling, I remember more than one person commenting that I could have been one of Schiele’s models (he had quite a predilection for underaged models).
When in Vienna, I didn’t have nearly enough time to see everything I wanted to, but I did get to the Leopold Museum and the MuseumsQuartier. I could have spent days in that span of blocks. Days.

ZOMG. Awesome. This is pure magic. I had this on someone’s old cassette (I was a bit of a magpie as a child) when I was little, and I can remember singing along when I was little - I loved the bits with lots of vibrato, it just felt so good to feel that sound coming out of you. Why I had not thought to check out this era on YouTube a bit more extensively is beyond me.
There’s always been a little part of me that wanted to grow up during that time period, for the colours and crazy outfits. But… then I think of the fabrics they were using at the time (shudder), the things they’d do to their hair, the values, the expectations… and it makes me pretty damn happy that I’m here, now.
